Being Accountable for Our Actions and Education

Creating a Safe and Spirited Community

Helping our Student Become College and Career Ready

Striving for Excellence Today and Tomorrow

These standards guide our teamwork and decision making here at Butler County High School.  We work to keep our students safe, have fun, and help them become ready for life after high school, whether it be in the workforce, on a college campus, in the armed forces, or any other post-secondary destination.

Principal Message from Mr. Young

Class of 2026 – It seems like not long ago you were the freshmen coming into the BCHS for the first time.  Now you are young adults who are taking college/high school dual credit classes, completing your career pathways, and going off to pursue work-based experience for your education.  My advice: Make sure you take time to be a high school student.  Enjoy the fall.  Go to the football, soccer, and volleyball games.  Enjoy the Homecoming 2025 and Sadie Hawkins dance.  Make memories because this is YOUR year!

BCHS will continue to work with students and the community to create experiences for our students.  Our students will work through their Journey of a Learner to strengthen skills in Problem Solving, Communication, Character, Collaboration, and Global Citizenship.  Our Butler County community believes these five categories will make students ready for life beyond high school, whether it be in college, the military, or the workforce.  We are proud of our success with academics, college, and career readiness.  Transition readiness is a status given by the Kentucky Department of Education for students who are career ready through industry certifications and end or course testing, or college ready through the ACT, dual credit courses, or other means.  We will continue to work with our students to BUILD A BETTER BCHS, A BETTER BUTLER COUNTY, AND A BETTER WORLD!

Switching Accounts In ParentSquare

Josh has mentioned that many of you are confused by the change in ParentSquare. They recently split your accounts so that staff could "switch" to their parent accounts and only see information pertine. . .
